Baked potatoes with butter and cabbage juice

Baked potatoes with butter and cabbage juice

Who doesn't remember those wonderful potatoes with margarine (butter was less, in the old days) and cabbage dies? .We sat and waited at the mouth of the stove (at the mouth of the ler, as they say in our country, at the grandparents LERU or CUPTOR) for the potatoes to ripen. good and with a glass of cabbage juice (cabbage dies, a little pink from beets), no other madness.
And as newer, for 3 nights in a row, I popped the same menu. I was thinking of sharing this wonderful recipe with you, although most of you probably know it.
Why did I eat the same menu for 3 nights? Because I told the children, how it was in my country in the winter with my grandparents when we go on winter holidays, and I remembered wonderful potatoes in ler, so I put them into practice. super excited, they like it like crazy. let's see if they want more tomorrow night.
No more stories and memories from the past, we return to the present. So cooopti potatoes are coming!

For baked potatoes, you can use any variant of this vegetable, but the most suitable are ripe potatoes, perfectly healthy. They must not show green areas, bumps or damage to the surface. If you make a larger amount of, for the whole family, choose those that are similar in shape and size. In this way, they will be made in the oven evenly and at the same time.

The simplest baked potatoes are made only from potatoes, salt and cabbage juice. You can add a little more vegetable oil (including olive oil) and some butter.

Mix together flour, baking soda, salt and sugar. Add eggs, oil and vanilla.

Crush the banana resulting in a puree and pour the milk over it, stirring slowly. Add to the main mixture and mix well until the composition becomes uniform.

Heat a little oil in a pan and pour the mixture to fry on both sides.

Put on the bottle in the oven with vegetables

a whole chicken of approx. 1 kg,
1 kg diced potatoes
other spices,
1/2 l water

After the chicken is thawed and washed well inside (make sure there is nothing left inside), season with greens, pepper and other spices. Separately, fill a 0.5 l beer bottle with water.
Put the chicken on the bottle, then put it in a pot (or small tray) where you will put 1/2 l of water then put the potatoes with a little oil and water.
Bake for about 2 hours (you can leave the chicken longer to brown).
From time to time, you can take it out, and with the juice that has gathered in the pan you can take it with a spoon and pour it on it.

In a large bowl add flour, baking powder and baking soda, spices, remaining sugar, eggs, honey and lard. Mix all the ingredients well, then add the syrup and knead until the dough is well bound. Put the dough in foil and put it in the fridge for 24 hours.
The next day, we take a piece of dough, spread it on the work table, pre-floured and cut different shapes, which we place in a tray lined with baking paper and bake for 15-20 minutes.

Sauteed cabbage with sausages

2 kg sauerkraut
500 g smoked sausages
200 g bacon
1 onion
1 red pepper
2 bay leaves
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
3 tablespoons tomato paste
2 tablespoons white wine

Method of preparation:
In a pan with oil, heat the sausages and then add the diced bacon, leaving them to brown until the meat changes color.
Wash the sauerkraut, cut the stalks and cut it into juliennes. We drain it well of the juice, eventually squeezing it in our hand.
We put it in a pot, together with chopped onions, bay leaves, thyme, pepper, chopped peppers and sausages fried with bacon. Put water and boil everything for about 10-15 minutes.

Take them off the heat and move them to a heat-resistant dish. Add the tomato paste, wine and lard and bake for about an hour, at 200 & # 176C, until lightly browned and the liquid decreases. We will stir from time to time in the bowl. If we have too much liquid, drain it and leave it in the oven until all the cabbage is cooked evenly.
