Bulgarian cucumber recipe

Wash the cucumbers well (it is good to keep them in cold water for 1-2 hours)

In the washed jars we put thyme and dill, bay leaves, mustard and peppercorns, place the cucumbers, onion rings and carrots, a clove of garlic, 1 teaspoon coarse salt, 1 teaspoon sugar, 5 tablespoons vinegar and fill with water . We staple the jars, wrap them in rags and boil them for about an hour.

After the fire is extinguished, let it cool then you can put the jars on the shelf. What I like most about this recipe is that no preservative is used.
