Ripe apples with nuts and raisins

A cold and rainy day ... what a good smell of ripe apples with cinnamon !!!!

RECIPE PREPARATION Ripe apples with nuts and raisins:

Apples are hollowed out of the seed box. I put them in individual aluminum molds so that the filling would not leak. On the bottom of each form I put a teaspoon of brown sugar and a little butter. I put the apple in the form and filled it with raisins, cinnamon nuts and a piece of butter on each apple. I sprinkled a little sugar on each apple and put it in the oven for 35-40 minutes on low heat.

I served with a teaspoon of honey on each (optional)

Baked apples in puff pastry

Then peel. Put the apples in a bowl of water in which you put the juice of a lemon and a few slices of lemon. Apples will have a fine lemon flavor and will not oxidize.

In a plate, mix sugar with cinnamon. Sprinkle the apples with the cinnamon sugar until they are covered with a layer of sugar.

Fill the inside of the merelo with ground walnuts, apricot jam,
a few raisins, then jam and nuts again. Place a cube on top
butter and sprinkle a little cinnamon.

Cut a sheet of puff pastry into 4 equal parts.

Fold each apple, covering it well on all sides.

Place the apples in the oven tray on baking paper. Grease each apple well with egg yolk.

Bake for 30 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius (or according to
instructions on the packaging of puff pastry)

Garnish with chocolate syrup and serve in moderation.

Ripe apples, stuffed with walnuts and cinnamon

Apples are some of the most popular and affordable autumn fruits. They can be included in a lot of desserts, from the simplest to the most complicated.

If you have already tried Apple pie or apple cake and you want an easy and quick dessert, we offer you a recipe for ripe apples, filled with walnuts and cinnamon.

  • 4-6 large apples
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup walnuts
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

To start, preheat the oven to 190 degrees.

Remove the back of the apples with a special knife. If you do not have such a thing, simply dig with a knife with a thin blade, enough to clean the part with seeds and the back and make room for the filling.

Melt the butter and finely chop the walnut kernels. Mix the walnuts with the melted butter, after removing from the heat. Add the sugar, after the butter has cooled a little. Put the cinnamon, and the raisins and mix.

Place the apples on a tray lined with baking paper. Put the filling in the apples with the teaspoon, until they are full. Optionally, you can add half a teaspoon of sugar on top to caramelize.

Bake the apples for 30-45 minutes or until browned.

Today we offer you one of the simplest desserts with apple, and delicious at the same time. Apples stuffed with raisins and baked & icircn puff pastry, delicious, fragrant and very easy to make.

  • a packet of puff pastry dough
  • 6 apples
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 6 teaspoons raisins
  • 1 or
  • 4 teaspoons butter
  • 6 teaspoons brown sugar
  • lemon peel
  • 3 teaspoons liquid cream

Thaw the dough and divide it into six parts or as many apples as you have. If the apples are large, several packets of dough may be needed.

Wash the apples and peel them. Remove the spine with a sharp knife or a special kitchen accessory for cleaning apples.

Mix the raisins with the sugar, cinnamon, lemon peel and liquid cream. Put each apple on a piece of puff pastry and fill with the raisin mixture. Bring the edges up and seal them so that the apple is completely covered in the dough.

Grease the puff pastry with beaten egg, mixed with melted butter and bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the puff pastry is baked.

Serve the ripe apples after they have cooled a little, with powdered sugar and cinnamon on top, or plain.

Ingredient:

  • 4 apples
  • 50 g butter
  • 50 g sugar
  • 50 g dried apricots
  • 50 g raisins
  • 100 g nuts
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • juice from 1 orange

Method of preparation:

Wash the apples, clean them from the spine and the seed box and put them in a tray.

Separately, in a pan, put the butter with the sugar and add the dried fruit, crushed walnuts and orange juice.

Leave them on low heat until the sugar melts.

Fill the apples with the fruit mixture, and grease them with honey on top. Put the stuffed apples in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.

Wash the apples then remove the back up to 3 quarters so that a whole part remains so that the composition does not leak from the inside. We place them in a tray, lined with baking paper and start to decorate them: sprinkle brown sugar inside each, then a few raisins, followed by walnut kernels, then sprinkle cinnamon powder all over.

We put the apples thus stuffed in the oven for baking. Baking time depends on the power of the oven.

Inverted strudel / pie with apples, ripe nuts and raisins

I could still talk about the apple strudel! It is one of my favorites and although it is a favorite, I eat it more in autumn and winter. It's probably seasonal, I didn't even care, it's certain that it remained imprinted on my retina as a child. But now that I sit and think, most of the dough was eaten during this period, because in spring and summer we often ate fresh fruit.
At home we called it pie and it was so salty with Telemea cheese, with cabbage or sweet potatoes with sweet cheese, pumpkin, plums, cherries or walnuts.
Today I go back 30 years and I remember that without exception I was always the one who took care of the strudels in our house, the family being very happy with my skills, although they wanted to make me a priest :))))

Ingredients for strudel dough with apples, ripe nuts and raisins:

  • 500 g white flour 000
  • 330-320 ml of water depending on the flour
  • 1 tablespoon sunflower oil + greased work surface and dough
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar of 9 degrees
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Ingredients:

  • 2 kg mere
  • 150 g butter
  • 300 g caster sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 200 g cooked and coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 100 g raisins
  • A pinch of salt

Prepared strudel / turned pie with apples, ripe nuts and raisins

How to prepare the filling:

The first time we prepare the apples, which we peel, grate and harden in butter until the excess juice softens and evaporates. Add the rest of the ingredients and heat until the composition binds. In case the apples are very juicy, we can add a tablespoon of semolina.
Let cool.

Dough preparation:

Put the flour in a bowl, make a hole and put the rest of the ingredients. Knead until you get an elastic dough, which comes off the walls of the bowl. Grease it with oil, cover it with a kitchen towel and let it rest for an hour.

Preheat the oven to 190 degrees

Divide the dough in half, grease a work surface with oil and press it with your fingers from the middle to the outside as far as it allows, grease it with oil and press with your fingers again and grease with oil and so on until it takes on a rectangular shape.

then from the middle we put our hand under it and stretch it outwards, greasing with oil after each stretch, until we obtain a thin dough so that the work plan can be seen.


Fill the dough obtained in the lower part with half of the apple composition, like a string, sprinkle with oil and roll enough to cover the composition and then put the edges inside, then roll until the dough is finished.


Shape into a snail and put in the oven for 30-35 minutes or until nicely browned.
We do the same with the other dough.

We can serve it with vanilla sauce or as such. Tasty and easy to make, but I don't keep you busy anymore and I tell you goodbye to work and good appetite!
