These pies are absolutely delicious and worth a try.
Because they didn't fit in a single tray, they baked them in the oven at the same time and the ones on top cracked a little. I don't know why. Maybe they were too high and the heat was too strong. I think I should have made a small hole (with a toothpick) to release the steam from inside.

  • For the dough:
  • 250 g flour
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 40 g nuts
  • 100 ml cream
  • 1 large egg (or 2 small eggs)
  • For the filling:
  • 5 apples
  • 5 tablespoons sugar
  • For anointed:
  • 1 beaten egg

RECIPE PREPARATION Dessert apple pies:

Sift the flour into a bowl, add the soft butter cut into pieces, salt, ground sugar, ground walnuts, eggs and cream. Knead a homogeneous dough, wrap in foil and leave in the fridge for 30 minutes. Depending on the size of the egg, the dough may require more flour. If necessary, add flour as you knead the dough by hand.

The apples are washed, cleaned and put on a large grater, squeezed well and put to harden with sugar for 5-10 minutes. Allow to cool completely.

Roll out the dough into a 3 mm thick sheet and cut circles 10 cm in diameter. Grease all the circles with beaten egg.

Place a teaspoon of apples in the center of each circle. Fold the edges of the dough in half and press to stick well.

Grease the pies with beaten egg, place on a tray lined with baking paper and bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees C for about 25-30 minutes. Allow to cool.
