- a small cup of oatmeal, whole (small cup of coffee)

- 1 banana, medium crushed with a fork

- 100 ml plain yogurt, homemade or bought

Steps needed to prepare
- Boil a cup and a half of water (the same one I used to measure the flakes). Pour hot water over oatmeal mixed with raisins.
- Cover and leave to soak for 15 minutes.
- Drain the water that has been soaked and rinse the flakes with clean water.
- Add the crushed banana, walnuts, cinnamon, yogurt and, possibly, the icing.
- The resulting mixture will be like a paste, no need to pass it.

Moms' mornings are usually busy, and the time for a healthy breakfast is minimal. So we thought of a recipe for bars with yogurt and fruit, which can be prepared the night before, and in the morning should only be eaten by small and large cravings.
These yogurt and fruit bars are the perfect alternative to the sugary cereals that children usually choose in the morning. So you will be able to convince them to enjoy a healthy and delicious snack. Not to mention how easy it is to prepare. You could even get your dwarf assistant cook in your own kitchen. In this way, you will start a day with energy and health in the family. The ingredients prepared below are enough for 5 servings.
1 1/2 cups Greek yogurt
3 tablespoons maple syrup
1/2 cup pecans
1/2 cup blueberries
1. Wash the strawberries well, under a stream of cold water, then drain. Remove the stalks and slice the strawberries. Wallpaper an oven tray with baking paper and set aside.
2. In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt and syrup until well combined. Pour this homogenized composition on the prepared baking sheet and spread in a thin layer. Sprinkle with pecans, washed and drained blueberries and strawberry slices.
3. Cover the baking sheet with aluminum foil. Leave in the freezer twice or even overnight, until the composition freezes completely. Slice into squares or desired bars. Serve immediately and store in the refrigerator in a sealed bag.
If you find the bar too cold to eat just when you take it out of the freezer, take it out a few minutes before you decide to eat it. The bar will heat up and soften quickly. Be careful not to leave it out of the fridge for too long, as the yogurt will become too soft and will not be able to maintain its shape.

I'm slowly starting to get closer to the culinary area. I don't have big plans, but there comes a time when you want to do some things with your hand. I started this "approach" last year, when Olympus challenged me to cook some recipes for friends using its yogurts as an ingredient. It was a success for me, but especially an exit from the comfort zone. I'm the kind who has on speed dial a pizzeria and a few applications on the phone through which I can easily order food, even from the car, on the way home.
This summer this Olympus did not challenge me to cook again, but rather let me make a series of mixes with Greek yogurt and what other ingredients I wanted to choose. I made a froyo, from my passion for ice cream and a smoothie to energize me on my outings in the park with skateboard-ul.

About the Greek yogurt Olympus
Olympus has a wide range of Greek yogurt assortments: plain (0%, 2% and 10% fat), with fruit (currants, pomegranates and raspberries, cherries, apples and cinnamon) and with cereal biscuits.
The 2% fat yogurt, which I used, is rich in protein and low in carbohydrates, being the perfect pretext for more and more tasty combinations. It can also be eaten as a snack in itself, at any time of the day.
Smoothie with berries and creamy yogurt

If we want our smoothie to be more attractive and get more colors, we mix the fruit separately.
So, add to the container of the Breville Blend Activ Pro blender, first the blueberries with a teaspoon of honey and a teaspoon of lemon juice.
Place the container in the appliance, connect the appliance to the voltage source and press the mixing button.
If the smoothie comes out thick, we can add a tablespoon of yogurt to dilute it.
Then pour it into a carafe or glass, and pour a little creamy yogurt on top.
We do the same with raspberries and currants, which I mixed together, then pour the resulting mixture over the yogurt layer, thus obtaining three layers full of color and flavor.
And so with this recipe for smoothie with berries and creamy yogurt, we take our portion of vitamins for the whole day.
You can use both fresh and frozen fruits. The frozen ones can be put directly, without waiting for them to thaw.
Breakfast with cereals, nuts and dried fruits
This mixture of barley and oats with nuts and raisins will give you energy for the whole morning. Cereals bring you the fiber you need, and nuts add extra Omega 3 fatty acids.
Mix maple syrup, honey, oil and vanilla.
Combine oats, barley, walnuts, wheat germ, cinnamon and nutmeg in a large bowl. Put the liquid mixture on them and incorporate well.
Spread this mixture on a silicone sheet or greased baking paper. Put everything in the oven for 30 minutes until golden brown, stirring in the cereal every 10 minutes. After removing them, you can add and incorporate the dried fruits.
Let them cool and you can keep them in a tightly closed container for 5 days.
Serve with yogurt, milk and fresh fruit.

Ingredients for the recipe for cereal bars
- 150 gr. raisins
- 350 gr. muesli without added sugar
- 150 gr. sesame
- 150 gr. gluten-free sunflower core (goes well with salt or plain)
- 150 gr. dried cranberries
- 300 gr. seedless dried apricots
- 200 ml polyfloral honey (or bee, forest)
- 75 gr. Almond kernels
How do we prepare the recipe for Cereal Bars with Dried Fruits, Honey and Seeds?
Place in a tray lined with baking paper: sunflower seeds, muesli, sesame and bake for 10 minutes over medium heat to brown lightly.
Finely chop the almonds or mix them in a food processor.
Apricots, cranberries and raisins are hydrated for 20 minutes in warm water and then drained.
Apricots and cranberries, hydrated raisins drain and mix in the robot, adding honey until the composition becomes a thick paste.
In a bowl pour the dry composition of seeds (sunflower, sesame, muesli), chopped almonds, and the obtained paste. Mix very well. The composition will be sticky and bound.
The composition obtained from the bowl will be poured into the tray, pressing very well so that there are no gaps and that it can be cut.
My tips are:
If you do not have apricots, they can be replaced with figs, plums, dates. If you have one of these ingredients you can add 2-3 tablespoons of jam, or apricot jam, plums, or 2 bananas.

Fruit and yogurt smoothie (recipes for children under one year)
